Our churches youth group in total has been given a TITLE to reflect Gods desire for all who take part –
“ABLAZE” ( Logo Design by Jacquelyn Chen) and the verse this reflects is
Jeremiah 20:9 “But if I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in His name, His word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it!”
This is a group of youth and young people who seek to know and grow in their relationship with Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As a group we want His word in our heart like a fire.
Youth Plug-In
Every second Sunday during the sermon time in our Sunday worship services children school age year 7 to 12 spend time together looking at the gospel in more age appropriate terms – this helps them understand Biblical teachings at their own level.
Small Groups
Every two weeks from 7.30pm to 9.00pm – the guys and girls meet in separate groups and currently are looking at life topics paired with Biblical examples.
All of our Children’s and Youth leaders go through ChildSafe training and carry “working with children’s cards” – this means they have had police clearances and have had training in age appropriate leadership.
