This is our story

A new beginning

A rich history,

A new beginning

Birthed out of desire to establish a new worshipping community for those living in the Rossmoyne, Bull Creek and Willetton areas, ‘Mid-Southern Suburbs Church of Christ’ as it was then named, held its first service on October 17,1976 at Rossmoyne Senior High School.

In September 1979, they adopted the name "Bullcreek-Burrendah Church of Christ", and later just "Church of Christ Bullcreek”. In 1984, they built and moved into their own building — the one where we still worship today.

For the next 37 years, under the leadership of many wonderful servants, the church grew and weaved itself into the fabric of the local community. The church saw many lives touched and transformed by the love of Jesus.

As with all living things, churches have life cycles and in 2021 the leadership of Bull Creek Church of Christ believed it was time for a rebirth of vision and mission. Discussions soon began with Lifestreams Christian Church South Perth, and in August 2021 it was voted that Bull Creek Church of Christ would close and be reborn as Lifestreams family of churches.

Lifestreams Bull Creek was officially launched in November 2021.

Our Vision

  • We see a church passionately following Jesus.

A Christ Centred Community that encourages continual growth and maturity in Christ while being equipped to relevantly share the Gospel to help people find and follow Jesus.

  • We see a church where people find acceptance.

Where people find love, connection, and community. Every person is supported through, and involved in, pastoral care, small groups, worship and ministry opportunities. We seek to be united in one voice and one mind as we celebrate our diversity.

  • We see a church that prays without ceasing.

A church with evidence of the Holy Spirit and the power of God in our lives. We see people empowered by the Holy Spirit, using their spiritual gifts and actively serving in the church and the world.

  • We see a church of servant leaders.

We see a church of servant leaders.

Leaders grounded in faith, obedient to the call of God, and raising up new leaders for generations to come. Our leaders serve Lifestreams locally and in the broader community, country, and cosmos.

  • We see a church breaking new ground.

We’re continually seeking God for new opportunities to build His Kingdom. This includes building a community hub in the heart of our city to be a light of hope for all those around us.

  • We see a church growing globally.

Filled with people passionately spreading the love of Jesus to every part of the world. We commit to carrying the hope of Jesus to the ends of the earth and ministering to the oppressed and vulnerable so they can experience the love of God.
